It's so much fun to host a baby gender reveal, but combining it into a football gender reveal is twice the fun. Gender reveals include family members, friends, even kids so here are some ideas to take yours to the next level of fun.
The Football Gender Reveal collection is designed to include two adorable babies wearing oversized pink and blue football helmets. I think it adds the right amount of cute and funny at the same time. Shop the entire collection on Etsy or Zazzle
Welcome Signs and Banners
Any party needs a major welcome sign or banner. There is an option to add the couple's names or baby's last name. A variety of sizes available.
Team Pink or Team Blue?
Engage your guests by having them take a guess on the baby's gender, they can choose to wear a sticker. Maybe see if your guests are up to wearing something blue or something pink to show their guesses, or maybe get them to write down their guesses on a chalkboard.
If you'd like to make it even more official, the matching party invitations are not to be missed!
Free "What's in Your Purse?" Printable!
This is such a fun and low key game to play during a baby shower or gender reveal. Each guest gets a list of items and adds up the points to what they have in their purse or pockets. The guest with the most points wins.
To make it more fun, have small gifts ready for the top 3 winners. I'm giving away this What's In Your Purse printable, there are two cards per a letter sized page, just print, cut and play! Click here to download. You can also purchase these as rack cards here.
Minted is always looking for fresh new talent and designs, so for the 2017 Very Corporate Christmas Holiday Non-Photo Challenge I decided to design something that I was actually interested in at the moment. I recently discovered a beautiful Russian folk art style called "Mezen" or "Mezenskaya Rospis" мезенская роспись, the elements are so pure and yet carry so much story in every stroke.
So for my "All is Calm, All is Bright" piece I created the geometric border and used the traditional Mezen horses gathering around the Christmas tree.
You are welcome to vote for the piece if you want, voting for the challenge ends July 18, 2017.
Another piece that I submitted for this challenge was also fun to make. It is called "Baked with Love"; it was designed with a bakery shop in mind, cookies can look scrumptious as illustrations too, right? I doodled lots of cookies and apothecary jars before I settled on some definite shapes to use. I have a bunch of apothecary jars in my house and during holidays I always look for new ways to decorate the house by filling the jars with something unique (pinecones, tree ornaments, nuts, and more).
So naturally, having them filled with gorgeous cookies and displaying loving messages on the tags was my first idea for the card. Illustrating iced cookies got me filled with an idea to learn to actually learn lace icing cookies and I bought a gorgeous book on the subject. It'll be a project for the future.

We are a trilingual household, we speak English, Russian and some Spanish. I absolutely love my native language (Russian) and I hope I can pass on at least some of my heritage to my boys. My oldest is currently learning to read in both English and Russian and sometimes gets his letters mixed up so I gathered all the illustrations that I have created over the years and compiled into this fun poster.
Almost every letter has an illustration to match it, I even combined some illustrations together so it makes more sense. My son enjoyed naming the letters and all the corresponding images, it will be a great piece to hang above his little study desk.
У меня есть мечта передать моим детям мою любовь к русскому языку, Я много с ними читаю и сейчас мой старший учится читать по слогам, вот и появилась идея для этого плаката.
